Little one is nearly 3 months old already. Everything seems to be on course for a bright, developing little girl.

Developments:

  • She is probably in the 13 lbs. range, which means she has doubled her birth weight.
  • She gets scared by loud noises, which means she hears OK and her CNS has developed.

  • She has a charming smirk when mom is mad at her for not eating or sleeping.
  • She has a wide open, full mouth smile after she has napped and fed well and all is right in the world.

  • Yet sometimes, just before sleep, she spaces out and sits quietly, rubbing her legs together gently (like papa does) cause she’s so comfortable and focuses on some faraway thing with a beatific smile on her face. She looks like she is thinking about water skiing. Peeling a large wall of water out of the lake with a slalom ski. That or gardening with papa. It’s early morning, mid summer.
