Wk 35: Sunday Measurements Taken Monday
Posted: March 31st, 2008 | Author: jw | Filed under: Meg & Jeremy | Tags: Baby, kitchen | 1 Comment »It was a glorious weekend. Sunny. Warm. Projects checked and completed. Meg cooked in her newly minted out kitchen (an asparagus, goat cheese, lemon zest potato crustata; chocolate chip cookies; blueberry scones). Saturday was a project day, Sunday morning brunch with buddies @ birchwood, followed by a serious IKEA session, leftovers and a movie at home.
Weekend Docket:
- New kitchen Stove installed (thanks Uncle John!)
- New Trim installed & painted around new kitchen floor (thanks dad!)
- New roll-out trash can installed beneath sink (thanks IKEA!)
- Upstairs bathroom detailed, shined, re-caulked & ready for bath-time (thanks JW!)
- Good food as per above (thanks MW!)
Sunday night left us wanting more, once again. But so it goes. Wait ’til you see what week 36 holds in store! Oh the organization! Oh the baby preparation! Oh the pleasure in making your space your space!
Numbers + Stats:
- Girth: 41.25 inches
- Movement: Much. Baby kicks, stretches, does push-ups, and generally seems to be an athlete (como papa!)
- Random contraction (perhaps 3 or so) stops Meg in her tracks
- Meg is needing of sleep yet having a hard time getting comfortable (hips sore!)
- Meg still practicing yoga, walking and seems very good for her
- Everything else holding steady
- Meg is writing the birth plan, ordering grassy carpet tiles for the nursery, feeling very pregnant and finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning (or tie her own shoes)
