Returned from San Francisco to the tiny town of Lake Crystal, the sailor finds the family healthy and well, all watched over by hands of loving grace. The summer is on and the pontoon is on the water. The carp are jumping in the lake. Grandma and Grandpa are feeding the orioles from Baltimore. Mother is taking a break.  And little one has put on a pound in 5 days time, chubbing up healthy. So June was a month of green growing for land lubbers.

July is on now and there’s no time for computers or the indoors. Boats, gardens, BBQs, buddies and beer. And babies. Occasional projects in the garage. And bird watching. Evening stroller cruises down the parkway checking out neighborhood gardens. Biking to work and back home. And once in awhile, if you’re lucky, a campfire to watch.

So we’ll leave it to photos to tell the stories. Check the gallery for updates soonish. And good summer to you all…
